First Rest Foundation is a faith-based nonprofit organization rooted in compassion and committed to restoring comfort and care to those who need it most. Based in San Antonio, Texas, we serve individuals and families who have recently transitioned out of homelessness by providing one of life’s most essential gifts—a bed to sleep in.

We believe that rest is not a luxury, but a foundation for healing, stability, and dignity. Through the generosity of our donors and the strength of our community, we deliver mattresses and sleep essentials to help transform empty spaces into places of peace.
